the second of the two for the get pushed challenge issued by Kathy @myhrhelper:
"near/far - photograph something (whether placed or discovered) in foreground in focus with a blurry background (or vise versa) but you really need both to tell the complete story or make your image really work." this is at Greenfield Village the world renowned museum and historical village located in Dearborn, Michigan, USA where I grew up!
@annied@aat3877@kimdavis@lifeisasufferingodyssey the village offers such a great place for artisans to work. sometimes this type of craft work is unappreciated and not super high paying. we learned a lot from him and his co-worker.
@jackies365 Yes I did! My daughter is also a potter so I think it is fascinating. I took the photo for the challenge - I had to photograph an "Indian Event" and they were doing something wonderful with their hands - will edit and load soon
Nicely done, Jackie! I love the focus. I forgot how to get the dual blur (foreground and background) that I did on the dragonfly while my friend was visiting from England. He taught me how and it totally slipped my mind! Short term memory sucks! Well done on your challenge!
