@kali66 actually we had asked to photograph someone's dog and they jokingly said take our picture...they didn'thave to ask twice Ilive it as a documentary shot of our times. E mailed it to them...rhey were happy with it too! @amyk 🤗 @graemestevens still hip at heart though!
I can see this in a book about this year!! It will be looked at by students of the future studying history ( history of disease management by not to wearing a mask, history of hand signals, oh and tatty jeans fashion!)
Jackie! This shot is awesome. It really is. So much is said in this photo, from the hand gestures, to the fact the middle guy has his mask down. I wonder the psychology of these masks... did he not want to be hidden behind it? Did he really want to be seen by the camera? People feel invisible enough in life...a mask just has to make it worse. And the tallest guy—his expression...it's deep. His hair, a statement all on its own!!
@lyndemc after talking (by e mail) I was wondering a lot about these 3 young men. I think the hand symbols belie their true nature. It's difficult to explain I guess. Anyway, he was an extremely nice young man! It was the young man on the left that I e mailed the photos to
I've just seen the choice of finalists for the Street-69 competition and I couldn't believe this was not included. This is a brilliant shot. I entered a photo myself but I was absolutely sure yours would be the winner.
@laroque thank you for your kind words. Running these competitions is not easy and no two people decide the same way. I was very happy with this photo. I am so humbled by the number of people that liked it. I take your comments as a compliment. No one has ever searched me out like this so it is very surprising that you did. I am grateful that you did. I feel very much accomplished today because of your kindness. By the way I searched your photo as well and it was quite a good one too! So happy to meet you Tim!
