in my 100 people project today I met Nick. gardener at the Fairlane Mansion, the home of Henry Ford. We had a nice talk about the grounds and policies of the mansion, now being refurbished by the University of Michigan who purchased it a while ago. probably one or two more years of renovation to go. in the meantime, the grounds which are massive, must be maintained. his wife it turns out is an avid bird photographer. being one of two full time groundskeepers keeps him very busy. some students are coming this week to help him out. nice to meet and talk with you Nick.
