I think that the rescue has loosened up their rules a bit to get more dogs adopted allowing people to take the dogs home on the day of the adoption event instead of waiting for home inspection etc. this is all dependent on the dog itself, the person applying and whether the dog needs any further treatments. I must admit it is also a bit sad to see so many who need homes (and they aren't even all at the events). she must already be fixed and healthy to be able to go home with a loving family today!
