We are grateful that my mother in law is still with us. Today is her birthday and she is 94 years young!
Yesterday we went to the Singer museum in Laren and afterwards we had a nice alfresco lunch.
The word of july is gait........she is walking with a walkingstick and I framed the photo.
@robz Yes it is Rob, I worry a little bit because she is still living on her own and she accept very little help from us. Not the type of woman to mollycoddle.....:)
@jacqbb You know Jacqueline - I think it's that independence and determination that allows people to live to quite old ages. Errol's Mum is 96 and still lives by herself in her own home - she is just like your Mum-in-law!! :)
@robz That’s is quite an age too Rob, my worry is more that she gets lonely, we and her daughter live both in other corners of the Netherlands and although we see her often and call her several times in the week her friends are almost all gone..... and she’s getting a bit frail.
