Waterdrop by jacqbb

Waterdrop

I took this photo exp 1/250, F6,3, iso 250
I didn’t use a flashlight and this one was the best of the 100 or so photo’s I took.
In the magazines I read It realy looks so easy......🤨
Can anyone tell me how to improve on this shot?
I have never tried this, so any comment would be useless ;-)

I think its a pretty good shot. I've tried and not done very well.

@angelunderwater Thank you Jane, I find it a bit to dark but I don’t know how to fix that!

Goed geprobeerd, maar je isomoet omhoog zodat je een nogsnelere tijd kan halen. Samen een keer proberen?

@tstb13 graag! Fijne vakantie.

Lol Jacqueline - how do they make it look so easy!! I'm afraid I can't help - I'm useless at trying these - but i think this was a pretty good effort! Cheers Rob

Water crowns are so difficult to get, there are sets available on line, but I think really you need patience and more patience and the light source to be close and mmore patience.

PS this is a really good capture of the droplet and really shows the movement

@30pics4jackiesdiamond hahaha Thank you for your comment, patience........brrr not my best quality. But I will try
January 4th, 2019
@koalagardens They do, but are worth trying!

@robz Thanks Rob, for your cheerful comment!

Mooi gedaan. Op mijn bucket list maar of het er ooit van komt?
January 4th, 2019
@pyrrhula haha, gewoon de emmer laten overlopen en fotograferen 😉

I think your drop is great for your first try and the equipment you used. Very creative to do it that way!
I have never done a water drop so I am absolutely no use to you.
Your shot has made me realize I really should give it a try!

@jacqbb would love to help but I'm none the wiser.

Hi again Jacqueline - I thought i would just tell you something interesting. I'm using a new computer to look at the 365 images and this image of yours looks quite different on the new computer. It has much better contrast and more depth to its tones - it seems a bit weird but maybe it's just what happens with different computer screens? :)
January 5th, 2019
@angelunderwater No problem, i’ll just have to try again. Let you know if I have found the solution.
January 5th, 2019
@farmreporter Thank you Wendy, i’m going to try this again with more light and a higher iso.......
January 5th, 2019
@robz Hi Rob, you must have a video card with a very high capability for processing pixels or something like that. Nice to know that you see this photo at its best, lol. I’m going to try this again with more light maybe that helps. It was also the first time I set my camera to manual I always use the A modus. I hope I make a little sense...getting technical in English is a bit difficult.
January 5th, 2019
@jacqbb will do.
January 5th, 2019
I haven't tried anything as difficult as this.
I think your shot is very impressive!
January 6th, 2019
@4rky Thank you so much :)
