I was struggling to get a photo yesterday and so went for a wander around the garden, as I often do when in search of inspiration! I saw lots of bees on the fading lavender so I headed over to that, and then got lucky when this little butterfly fluttered by. It didn't stop for long, so I was happy with this shot. The lavender is so tall that is weighed down - hence the horizontal blooms.
So pretty with the light in the butterfly's wings and the sparkling bokeh in the grass. Your garden must be amazing — you've photographed so many different flowers and shrubs from it.
