Le Potiron

I was working outside in the garden on Saturday, and when I came round to the front of the house I found a green carrier bag with a beautiful pumpkin inside! My friend Anne-Marie had dropped it round to my house for me. What a lovely surprise. I made a delicious soup with it - adding tomatoes, onion, split peas, fresh coriander and ground cumin. Simple but tasty.
