La Vision du Poète by jamibann

La Vision du Poète

This is part of a much larger sculpture in the Jardin du Ranelagh. It's been in these gardens since 1985, but was commissioned in 1902 to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Victor Hugo.
What an impactful way to photograph this. Sculptures with lots of interest and detail are fascinating to explore just one piece at a time. So many thoughts come into my mind on just this section. Well done.

How tragic looking. It almost looks as if the person in front didn't care about the bodies lying about him.

Like Sarah, your photos usually send me to Google for more exploration. I viewed some shots of the large sculpture and it is quite impressive. Great choice of composition for this photo. Fav!
