We were both really tired last night and agreed that it was good that we were having a quiet day today. That did not quite work out, and we have both laboured in the garden from 9 this morning until 5 tonight. Here, hubby is having a well earned rest following his industrious day. The seat has been made from granite lintels which came from my dad's house. He had 10 of them, and wanted us to use them if possible. We used most of them for our back step from the kitchen into the garden (I'll post that another day), and John had the idea to make a seat with the remaining pieces. I think it looks great.
We continue to make good progress with the outside of the house. Monday should see another step forward, as we should get the builder back and a big load of chuckies to be laid all round the house.
Chippings maybe?!
Mind was boggling over what chuckies were.
I always want to look up things (librarians use to do so). Where would we be without Wikipedia? https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Chucky
