Well, son and his girl are on the west coast with my car. Hubby has gone fishing with his car. This leaves me with the bus or the bike. I wanted to go to my Pilates class in Aboyne today, so opted to cycle down - just a 40 km round trip! So, I'm feeling tired today, but happy, because: John Lewis have at last obtained the missing brackets for the blinds they installed for us 4 weeks ago. So, I will soon have properly functioning blinds in the bedroom. And, Wee Jim and Billy the Builder have at last removed the tree roots from the front of the house and backfilled and flattened the area, so we will soon be able to use our new car port. Hoorah!
The image above was where I stopped for a bite to eat on my way back from Pilates! I loved the rustic look of the post box and the names of the cottages. Thankfully a quiet evening ahead - it's been quite a day.
