I almost missed this lovely drystone dyke when I was intent on capturing the rainbow yesterday. As I turned around to go back to the car I saw it for what it was; an amazing piece of ancient art out in the countryside!

The gnarly stature of the tree standing beside the stone wall caught my eye as well. What beautiful countryside you have there.

@vignouse Oh, yes, it is. It's part of the remnants of an old wall in the back of beyond, serving no purpose today - other than looking rather handsome in the autumn light.

Beautiful! I love the greys and browns at this time of year, but of course, rainbows are awesome!
