Chest of Dee by jamibann

Chest of Dee

Ah, we've just had a lovely couple of days and now I'm chasing my tail again. Yesterday we went up to Braemar and walked out to the Chest of Dee where this picture was taken. We then spent the night at the new Fife Arms Hotel, where at last I was able to take some photos (but oh, not as many as I would have liked ...). I will be sharing some of those over the next few days. However, in the meantime, enjoy this view of the Dee valley. I'm off to prepare the evening meal, and hopefully have more time tomorrow to look at and comment on your images and all those flashes of red!
A lovely looking place to explore.

Very peaceful view... where is the waterfall in relation to this?

@vignouse You’ll be meaning the Linn of Dee. This photo is about 5km upstream from that. And the Linn is about 10km upstream from the village of Braemar. Beautiful territory.
