Blue Tit in the Rowan Tree

I enjoy watching the birds in our garden, but unfortunately the crows and pigeons bully them away and getting a photo is really quite difficult. I sat under our Douglas Fir yesterday afternoon waiting for a shot. This was as good as it got. Not brilliant, but I do love our blue tits. Happy May Day everyone. I do hope you washed your face this morning in the May dew. I did. :-)

Great shot- the little birds often flit about quite a bit but you've caught him in a good light. I have not heard of washing one's face in the May dew- all I remember about May Day was from nursery school when we made a Maypole and danced around it for our parents! It's a complete blur in my memory.
