I thought this view of the village made it look slightly Alpine. This is taken from the far bank of the river Dee, looking towards the village with the Coyles of Muick on the left, and Lochnagar on the right, with some snow on the high tops and corries.
We spent all day yesterday painting indoors, so this is a shot from a couple of days ago.
Such a lovely place to live and I enjoyed what you wrote about it. I would love to sit on the banks of the river and throw out a fishing line or go for a hike along the river or hills. There is so much one could do here and enjoy being outdoors in nature. You are very blessed to have all this on your doorstep.
