We went mountain biking yesterday with another (very fit) couple from our village. They took us to places we'd never been. Literally. This is taken on the i-phone at Morven Lodge - a shooting lodge which you can see just on the left of the image. Morven hill, shrouded in low cloud, is in the background. Pauline had stopped to remove a layer of clothing and I liked the scene as I stopped and turned around to see what she was up to. 1250 metres of elevation, 65 km and 6 hours later we were home again. A fish and chip supper and a beer was our treat - after a long hot shower!
I bet you are both snoozing in front of the fire this very minute! Stunning scenery once more & good to learn new routes! I at first thought you had gone on holiday as the trees threw me... quite foreign looking!
This is really gorgeous- the trees are surprising as I'm used to seeing none on your hills. I love the human element too- the whole scene is magical. fav
