Back to basics after a couple of days with friends. A quick raid of the greenhouse and garden ... tomatoes, grapes, basil, parsley and camomile flowers.
Tonight we're hosting 4 young people, friends of our daughter, who are currently cycling from Land's End to John O' Groats. They're close to the end of their journey, but have to negotiate some steep climbs today to get to us in Ballater, and then they will have a few more tomorrow to get to Inverness. On our daughter's request, we're going to cycle up to Braemar to meet them and accompany them down to Ballater.
It looks lovely - we have purple parsley in pots in the kitchen grown from seed by a friend and given as tiny plants, now grown so tall. Have a nice day!
Lovely photo and the camomile looks so pretty.
Love hearing about 'Lejog' cyclists. Having driven from Cornwall to Caithness this summer I appreciate the challenge especially in these northern parts. Lovely that you're going to meet them.
@kjarn I don't disagree, and in fact had removed that part for an instagram post, but somehow reverted to this one for 365. I should also have placed a better looking tomato, with stalk, in the front of the image! Thank you for the positive criticism. :-)
