Scottish cousins.

Wanted to post this too - it's not the best photograph, as the branch of the tree is in his wee face, but this is taken at my dad's house. I couldn't get too close to him (the squirrel, not my dad!) as he would hear me crunching towards him on the hard, frozen grass and would run away. Dad feeds them monkey nuts all year round.

@pamknowler Oh, I'm so glad I posted it then Pam! I love them; and we're still lucky enough to have lots of them in our area of Scotland. The local residents do look after them though!

@pixiemac They're lovely, aren't they Sarah? I'm not sure where their habitat ranges from/to, but I know they've become extinct in lots of areas - I think the greys take over when they can!
