And these are my grandparents in 1927. I've never seen my grandfather with hair! Since I knew him, he was always bald. My dad and I went through old photos yesterday, and this is the first time I've seen this one! I love her outfit. And how I loved my granny!
This is wonderful! I love old photos. A few years back I scanned all of my husband's grandma's photos to preserve them. It was a labor of love and I'm so glad I did it!
@seejillrun I scanned a few with my dad yesterday - but I must do more. He has all sorts of fantastic photos, dating back to Victorian times when the dress was somewhat austere and obviously smiling for photos was not the done thing!!
@jessca646@cmsfk70@mzzhope Thanks - it does make me wonder what kind of evenings our kids will have with old photos when they are grandparents ... all sitting in front of a computer, or will it be even more high tech by then?!
@allisonraposa Thanks Allison - you're right, I could spend hours looking at old photos - our kids love it too, especially our daughter who loves to see herself when she was little!
