grass snakes

my husband found 3 grass snakes under a paving slab when he was doing some work in the garden. My eleven year old son started the 365 project yesterday, and I am ashamed to say that his photo was better than mine!

Note to self:- refuse to lend him your camera next time.......

oooo how fascinating! I'd love to have those near me! When I was a kid we used to have loads of slo-worms - haven't seen one for years.

I've decided to let my daughter use my old 400D - if she starts getting better than me I'll confiscate it! ;)

@jlhopgood it's quite good fun really. I am teaching him to do a bit of editing in PSE 8 and he is really enjoying it. Quite funny really because he always used to say it was cheating when I used it!

We've had a few slow worms, they are really lovely. I think we are in just about the perfect place for grass snakes because we have got a few ponds and muck heaps
