Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford upon Avon (more like 'Avon upon Stratford' at the moment)
not much time (or to be frank inclination) to take photos today but when I went to Stratford to pick my son up this evening I noticed that the River Avon has burst its banks. Such a shame, the boat club, gardens and restaurants along the edge of the river are all flooded. I feel so sorry for the traders, it was a bad enough summer for them as it is, but this must be heart-breaking.
I only had a couple of minutes to take the shot and it was taken from a bridge in the dark. What I hadn't considered was the fact that I couldn't remember where most of the controls were on my new camera so things would have been set up quite differently if I had.
