fog and really hard frost all day. Finally got round to fiddling with the white balance on my camera (still not acted on New Year resolution to shoot RAW - why am I so scared? and to get lightroom - note to self - must do it soon!)
At first glance the spiky bits look like they are part of the plant but the frost had formed these long spikes on everything
One of those (rare) days when I had quite a few shots that I was happy with, so, given my new more relaxed rules re fillers for my second year there may be more appearing here soon, especially as Graham and I are arranging and cooking for a 3 course Burns' Night supper for 90 people on Saturday - shopping done, cooking starts tomorrow.........
Just off to buy some new tyres for my Landrover - exciting hey?
stillnot 100% sure what RAW is but am going to try it too!! never thought about white balance, blimey so much to earn!!This is just gorgeous, frost looks prettier than snow, love the colour
Thats great. RAW's not scary really. You have a bigger file size so less pictures in your memory card and you need to learn how to resize your files or you'll use all your memory on your PC - very easy to do. They you wont have to think about your white balance as you can change it later!
Absolutely beautiful... So detailed! Just back today from business meeting in moreton in marsh.... Colleague drove me back to the airport and I was amazed at the scenery! But not brave enough to ask him to stop so I could get camera out !!
Good luck with the Burns Night cookathon...90 people?! Even the thought makes me feel anxious.
