Not much time today due to Burns' night cooking commitments.
Got up at 6am expecting there to be inches of snow, no more since last night, so only a centimetre of so, but the forecast is for lots more.
I hate it when the decision whether or not to send the kids to school isn't obvious - our village lies in a steep valley and gets cut off very easily, but after a few phonecalls to other parents who have kids at school in the same towns we decided to keep them off. Glad that's what we decided because we are now mid-blizzard.
Quite astonishing! Amazing shot, very well captured. We had the same spikey frost here and then all the spikes fell off the trees and bushes when the sun came out but didn't melt, they just lay on the ground covering it like little icy pine needles.
nice nice photo
