we usually let the pigs out of their pen at the weekend so they can roam (and try to trash) the field that they are in. The dog is a bit of a pain to begin with, nipping at them to try to get them to play. They don't play because they are usually too busy rootling around. As you can see Myrtle has just been having a mud bath.
Graham's trip to the dentist for root canal ended very unsatisfactorily yesterday. No matter how much anaesthetic the dentist injected she couldn't numb the nerve so he nearly went through the roof every time she started to drill. She thinks that she has killed enough of the nerve to have another go next week. His gout is still terrible so his dentist trip was followed by an emergency appointment at the doctor's (he NEVER goes to the doctors.). He saw a different doctor who put him on a completely different regime but using the same medication as the original one. Makes you wonder doesn't it?
Angus exam's yesterday were 'fine.' So, last week they were 'OK' on Monday, 'alright' on Tuesday, and 'fine' on Friday. I did ask him if he could rank these gradings in order of 'alrightness' but he didn't indulge me. Don't blame him really, I was being a bit of an arse.
Nope, not you - just Angus being a normal boy! I feel so for Graham! All that pain -so had on the body and mind and hard on you too! Good job the pigs keep you busy!
Jan , getting any info from sons no matter what age & no matter how you try it is like getting blood out of a stone !! So sorry Gray is having such a bad time of it at present ! I hope *foot & mouth* will be better soon !! As for your photo -delightful shot - nose to nose doggy so afraid pig finds something good -no matter he is turning his but end to the camera !!! lol :-)
Not a question of being an arse but a caring parent. I know we men moan about pain but gout is a mother of pain and I have felt some in my time. So thoughts are with your hubby. Oh by the way food shot. Keep smiling.
Just bought a book about the teenage brain for a teenage friend - might read it first.... Poor Malcolm - two lots of hideous pain - I still haven't had my filling fixed as I'm pretty sure he won't numb it for me this time - yuck! Lovely pig!
Do hope Graham's gout and tooth both improve.
You are such a great photographer that even your snap shots are wonderful
Poor guy, hope things go better
