allotment chooks by jantan

allotment chooks

I'm sure there is a better title in there somewhere, it just escapes me at the moment.

Just filling in a few holes that have developed in my project over the past few weeks. Trying to rekindle my photo mojo by using my 100mm macro lens for non-macro shots. I like the effect.

These chickens live on the village allotments. Fortunately they are well fenced in. I can't imagine the carnage they would cause at this time of year if they escaped.
Nice shote. I like the way that the chook in the foreground is echoed out of focus further back.

Love your focusing here on the chook in the foreground. Your title is just right.

Love the DOF. Chook must be an english term, as I have never heard it before (and we do raise chickens). Is it for chicken or rooster or...?

@debrac @debrac Thanks Debra. I do live in the UK, but I think that chooks is more of an Australian word for chickens.

Love the focus on the front one. And it looks like there's a screen between them with your dof...great shot.
