...... us with our feet up on Christmas Day that is.
Usually we have somewhere between fifteen and twenty people with us for Christmas Day, but this year, because of some people's work commitments we had nobody staying and after we had sorted the animals out we went to my Mum and Dad's for the day. It was lovely to be cooked for for a change and we all really enjoyed the day which involved lots of sitting around and a visit from my brother and his family in the evening.
We got a taxi home and then had the delight of going out to feed the animals in the drizzle and dark.
All very lovely, but no rest for the wicked - all of the people who usually come to us for Christmas are arriving on the 27th for my 50th birthday celebrations on the 28th.
I'm late...dang it.....Happy Birthday Jan.. Hope you had a great day with lots of friens...welcome to the club! My 'baby' brother turns 50 tomorrow too!
So cosy looking! I love 'enforced' sitting around - it doesn't happen very often. Enjoy your Birthday - I was dreading my big one but it turned out to be a fab year with lots of treats!
