I know I said I wasn't going to post any more of these photos, but I need to fill a few gaps.
I had a phone call from on of my neighbours about a week ago to let me know that they had just spotted the black goat that you can see a bit of here in their neighbour's garden. So with trepidation I went round to see what the damage was and to try and chase him back into his field and then fix the fence.
He is the goat that usually attacks me. How different when he was off his own turf tho. He had hopped over the wire fence onto a dry stone wall and then down off the stone wall into the garden. The drop was far too much for him to get back onto the wall so I must admit I was a bit worried about how I was going to get him back on the right side of the fence.
He was obviously terrified and as soon as he saw me came running straight to me. My friend went and got me a dog collar and lead from his house and I put the lead on the goat and led him out of the garden, down the road, up through our garden and back into his field. Not a sight you see every day I imagine, and fortunately I only saw a few people on my way. Most of them were not in cars so I was able to explain the situation to them so they were not under the illusion that I was just taking the goat out for his 'constitutional.'
I must say tho, he was much better on the lead than our dog usually is.
Great POV, love your shooting blind project, saves on the knees too! Hilarious about your naughty black goat, our neighbours take their goats for a walk so quite common in my neck of the woods!
