After Graham told me this evening that he is bored of insect shots - what better excuse did I need to go out to take a shot that I have been planning for some time. It was a disaster. As I was heading home feeling a bit fed up I noticed the sun coming through the trees onto the road that leads to our village. I am going to go out and try this one again next time the sky is right. Next time I will use a tripod.
Instant fav for me, I find this stunning in every way! Sometimes the shots we just happen upon, rather than the ones we carefully plan for, turn out to be the great ones.
