I took this shot from our bedroom window this morning when I noticed the lovely light and mist and the pigeons basking in the sun.
While Graham was out with our dogs my Mum and I took her dog Wes out. It was lovely and warm in the sunshine, but the dewdrops were frozen on the leaves in the shade. We saw a few people walking about, but by far the nicest thing was seeing a couple of families playing on the equipment in the playground. I can't remember the last time I saw and heard children laughing.
I took a few photos as we walked about, but went back out again with my tripod, which I am ashamed to say, I had completely forgotten how to use.
The afternoon has been spent watching the rugby (disappointing) and sorting through my photos.
No cooking for me tonight because my Mum is treating us to a takeaway. So that will make a nice change.
Yes we lost!! The light here is pure Cotswolds.... I can almost feel how it is if that makes sense! Beautiful! Good for mum, I don’t think men realise what a treat it is not to have to think what to cook!
Beautiful light and tones
