I did a longer walk this morning, only marred by two things - firstly the road I walked along had massive puddles covering almost half of it in places; and the battery ran out on my phone which meant that I couldn't hear the end of my audio book. I felt quite pleased with myself by the end of it. It is definitely getting easier.

Graham's sourdough bread was relatively succesful. Phew! The inevitable inquest had it not worked would have been unbearable. ๐Ÿ˜†

My Mum is staying for a couple of nights, and we had a Facetime call with my three cousins which was lovely. After watching Would I Lie to You we decided to watch the first episode of 'It's a Sin.' Excellent, though perhaps not the most appropriate choice of viewing material with one's 80 year old mother/mother-in-law ๐Ÿ˜œ. To be fair, she didn't seem too phased by it.

I found out this morning that our gardener was blue-lighted to hospital yesterday with very low oxygen levels. He and his family have all tested positive for Covid - he was allowed home in the early hours but is now on blood thinning injections, and having to report his oxygen levels to the hospital twice a day. Scary stuff.

This is one of our Oxford Downs sheep.
Beautiful fabulous sheep. Love that you got so close to see her lovely shiny nose! Well done all round for walk & bread & family time in front of TV! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ Fave.

I love this close up and what a beauty!
I have a sourdough starter but as it takes 2 days in total from making the big starter then the folding and slapping and proving I need the right time frames.

Fav for the sheep and the sourdough (thank the lord) and your mumโ€™s stay. Itโ€™s a Sin is brilliant- scary that we were adults when all that prejudice was still so prevalent - but Iโ€™m getting through a lot of Kleenex. Hope your gardener picks up - they do seem to have greatly improved the treatment if you get to them in good time. My friendโ€™s brother and 4 of his extended family have been in hospital with it recently including young fit members - all terribly scary.
