There were other sleeper carriages on the yesterdays steam train ride, but the Pullman was the most intriguing as the top sleeping berths pulled down from the side of the carriage. The seats could also be made up into a lower sleeping berth. My memories of sleeping carriages are of a corridor to the side and 4 berth cabins where the upper sleepers still pulled down, but across the carriage, not along it.
