EarlyThorn

I'm almost certain this gorgeous insect is an EarlyThorn moth. The experts at Yorkshire Butterfly Conservation will confirm or correct. It's my first ever & s/he was attracted to light through the window.
Now confirmed by Dreich who knows far more than I do. Thank you, Dreich.

Definate Early thorn. The only Thorn to hold it's wings like that and out at the moment.
