This is a little trickle near our house most of the year but today it is a waterfall. Today is an Important day for me...my oldest son's 46th birthday. 46 years ago I was laboring in Honolulu where my husband was stationed in the army with sounds of fire crackers exploding outside the walls of the labor room celebrating the coming of a new year. Happy New Year to all and thanks for all the support yu have given me in 2011
Oh how exciting - a baby for the new year! I think all mothers should get a little treat on their children's birthdays - they had to work hard for the event!
@twinsplusone happy birthday to them! Mine was born today....ironically squeaking in before the New Year for a tax advantage when we had so little money that it was irrelevant
love the caption on it. it tells a wonderful story. i love the water in this picture! but i must ask... how did you get the water to look like that? My only concluding thoughts would be a longer exposure time?
@shyanewiegers I will check what the shutter speed was and get back to you. I know I tried a bunch of different shutter speeds and some were slower than this, but I liked this the best
