My first experience with out of camera HDR. I took three exposures and then used Photamatix to fiddle a bit. Beautiful sunny day hike with ocean way into the picture where the creek leads (you can see it if you enlarge it) . Please give suggestions. Too much?
This is very pretty! Don't you just love Photomatix? Thats what I use also. Alot of times I will mess with a picture in Photomatix and then go into Photoshop and do a little more editing. It's just so much fun.
Not too much at all. I love the absolute stillness of the water in the creek. The gradation of color is wonderful!!! Sometimes HDR is over the top. This is just right.
Well I'm no expert on how to do it (still talking about it, not doing it) but I think it's great. Subtle - not at all artificial looking, but quite 3D in effect.
Beautiful! I love the way the background fades. I wouldn't have even realized it was HDR if you hadn't mentioned it (which is a good thing... I think some HDRs can be way overdone too)
