After a very long day of driving, hiking, and exploring many new places we returned to the Hawaii Volcano National Park to see the active volcano at night. It was awesome. Another day I will post a shot that has the full moon in it too. See my extras album for a shot of the same caldera in the daytime. I'd love suggestions for taking a shot like this. I didn't have my tripod...used a fence...and boosted the iso and did a longish exposure
It's really beautiful and eye-catching, you can see the details within the crater. An excellent job using a fence to steady, without a tripod I think that was about the best you could do.
