Painted Church

This church had a priest in 1840- 1889 whose way of praying and expressing his love for God was painting. It is beautiful and feels filled with Spirit. It felt inviting to sit a while in the pews.

Oh wow! What a lovely church! I don't know how old the painter was, but this reminds me of a beautiful quote of Michaelangelo, "Many believe - and I believe- that I have been designated for this work by God. In spite of my old age, I do not want to give it up. I work out of love for God and I put all my hope in Him."
