This is a filler. I figured I should post before the weather takes out our power and internet again. Cold here and snow predicted. 6" last night in Eugene where I am supposed to be tomorrow to work and there is the coastal range between here and there that can get really icy. So I needed a hit of Hawaii to cheer me up. This is on route 137 right next to the ocean and it has long stretches of these beautiful arches. We had to stop and capture them
Looks like a piece of paradise! I don't know where you live, but we went from winter to summer and spring seems to have escaped us! I sure don't want winter back, but I would love some spring! 80 degrees right now! And I live in the mountains!
A tunnel of trees!! Always a cause of excitement in our car (and that's just the adults). Bummer about your weather though - come on spring - shape up!
What gorgeous trees. I love it when they do that. At what time of year does your weather clam down? It seems to make your life quite difficult sometimes.
Beautiful shot Jane. Really great perspective. Looks very pleasant. I hate to tell you this, but we hit 80 again in New York. Just so strange. I'm starting to get nervous now that we won't have a summer!
@fueast This is actually very rare. We had a warm dry December...which is rare. We usually have lots of rain dec- April and sometimes serious flooding and landslides ( last time it was as bad as this year was 10 years or more ago). But snow on the coast is very rare. We've lived here since 1979 and we've never had the snow we had this year (when we were still in Hawaii and just had deal with the aftermath power outage). It blows me away when people say we don't have limate change!
@jgpittenger ok, sometimes they are only available for a limited time. so when you open up the App, click on the curved arrow thingy and they you should see a shopping trolley. click on that and it will tell you all the gear available. Salvador is in Retropak One and its worth getting Retropak Two also, as it has some cool stuff. If it's not there, it will come back sometime!
