First, I need to say I am totally blown away by all the favs and support during the last few days. Thank you for taking me to PP. I'm still working with Kim Klaussen's homework: what could be simpler? I'm trying to find ways to create negative space in photos that always seem to have greenery in them! Suggestions?
Congrats on the recent pp - well deserved! This is a lovely image -so full of detail and texture
If I'm trying to compose an image with more negative space I tend to pay more attention to the rule of thirds - it helps to get the photo into the right proportions. You can blur the background using your camera settings - or later in photoshop but I find this fiddly.
@naladka one of the people I follow here sent me a great link on this topic. I can't seem to send it through here but if you want me to, give me your email address
