First View After Coming Up and Over the Ridge Line

We finally got to do our backpacking trip. With lots of angst given the condition of my back and knee, we packed up and hiked up towards our "second home" in the Three Sisters Wilderness. This first view always takes my breath away and we are close enough to where we will camp that I know I will be able to make it.

@happypat usually it is like wine, but with the smoke from nearby fires our ocean air at home is far more wine like!
