This is Jim at the birthday dinner prepared by one of our daughters to celebrate his 70th. I had asked him what he wanted for dinner and he said "roast beef". I haven't bought, cooked, eaten beef since 1980 so I shuddered internally. But then my daughter saved the day and cooked it for him. I did make the pie he asked for!
Happy birthday Jim. Tomorrow is my moms 72nd birthday. I can't be with her she lives in FL and I'm in Michigan. I did go down for her 70th birthday and surprised her. I hid at the Rest. and my youngest sister who lives in FL picked her up and when they got to the Rest. I stepped out and went "SURPRIES". She just looked at me and said what are you doing here. MOM's gotta love them. LOL Jim looks awesome for 70 you would never know it.
Happy birthday, Jim! Your hair is a little blonder since last time I saw you (27 years ago?! I'm thinking it was), but other than that, you look the same! =-)
