This is for today's One Night Stand challenge- candid. This is one of the styles of shots I feel weakest in. I sat down to drink my coffee and took what I thought was a surrepticious shot of this man. He caught me and looked up. He asked me about my camera and turned out to be a professor who was doing class prep at Starbucks because he was sick and didn't want to infect his students. Turns out he's a photographer and graphic desiner. He gave me some ideas for shots in Eugene
I too am a coward when it comes to candids and I have to go do one today. Going to set up on Mian street and photograph foot traffic during lunch. You have helped give me courage to do this
I love the processing in this Jane, and you did capture a good candid of someone who obviously isn't feeling well. I'd say you met the challenge...and benefited from some pro tips as well!
He certainly doesnt look like he feels too good. Great capture and so nice of him to be helpful. Always tricky to get candids, I keep dipping out, not quick or brave enough!
You title aptly describes your photo! Nicely processed! And nice of him not to want to infect his students but not so nice that he was willing to infect all the Starbucks patrons and employees! Hope the only thing you got from him was good ideas! :)
