Went on a photoshoot to points south along the coast. You'll be seeing more over the days ahead but this is the onbly one I've had a chance to post yet. Whata gorgeous bird. We were so excited to find it and get to shoot long enough that it turned its position and I could get the catch light
Wow! I'm glad you brought this to my attention because I totally missed it! It's a beautiful photograph and all the colors are beautiful! Wonderful composition, too. I've seen these before but couldn't get close for a good photo.
@vskolnik Thanks for looking and your fav means a lot. This was a drive by shooting...that is to say we were using the truck we were in as a blind and we kept moving it slightly as the bird moved. I got several shots without the catch light and then it turned. Hooray!
