Barn swallows are one of my favorites. This pair had a brief interlude from snow and hail to soak in the sunlight even if it was 20 degrees.

They only ever seem to sit still on the edge of their nest or a telephone wire so to see these two sitting side by side on a post, very cute & always a welcome sight ...you did well to catch them!
