Face To Face With a Prehistoric Creature

This is a golden bellied newt. We sat down to dinner and he crawled towards us. Dinner had to wait for my camera and macro lens. These guys are poisonous and have few predators. Be sure to wash your hands with soap if you touch him!
Thanks for everyone's input on the bokeh shot for the club. I decided on the bokeh on ice. I'd be happy if I could even just place in the competition. I haven't yet.
