We went off for a late afternoon adventure last night. We had been planning a backpacking trip this month that got cancelled for an assortment of reasons so this was a bit of a substitute. We drove to the backside of Tahkenitch Lake for a picnic and a canoe ride. I love the way the light seemed to kiss these lily pads despite them being past their prime.

I thought these were birds at a quick glance. They do look like they are moving. Sorry about the mass upload on comments. Have got so far behind that havnt managed to do all of them although I have really enjoyed looking. Love your outdoor shots, you do get to some great places.
