Tomato Focus Stacking by jgpittenger

Tomato Focus Stacking

Growing tomatoes on the coast is difficult so whatever we get is a special treat. This was my first try at focus stacking. I learned a lot re what to do and not do...but it is all I have to post for today.
Thanks for all your encouragement

That's gorgeous and photography well done! A photography teacher taught me that photographers have the ability to portray a realistic image...a moment in time... and you have done this here! It looks totally real and that's a very good thing! Don't get me wrong...I love processed photos/images too...:)

I like the circular basket and the different shapes of tomatoes. I have a bumper crop of sweet cherry tomatoes! It's Greek salad for me every night for a while!

Very nice result for your first try at this technique. Always fun to learn new techniques. I look forward to future images using this technique. I plan to learn more about it for landscapes.
