Small moon and Stars

I think I may be able to rescue the photos of Rachel using a card recovery program, but I ran into problems with it and the tech support is closed until Monday. I am holding my breath!
I played a bit with editing here and see it is a bit dark on the 365 site. Best viewed large.

I have never been able to get a decent crescent moon shot. Full moon yes, but the crescent ones blow out...maybe with the new camera...love the stars and all there. FAV!

@camim the stars were shot for 15-20 sec at ISO 1600 and f stop of 2.8. On a tripod of course
