I was hoping that rejoining 365 would get me motivated to pick up my camera every day again and it has. I think I got into a slump feeling as if I shouldn't even pick up my camera if I didn't have 1) good light, 2) vision for a really good photo. What I have relearned is that taking the pressure off myself makes it fun once again.

So easy to get out of the habit Jane....I know if I stopped for a while I would never get going again! Summer in your part of the world....not much slurping of pollen here yet!
I'm so glad you are having fun again! That may have been the struggle in the critique group only...it made each posting seem more important. I think it's good to have a balance and this shot is really terrific -- lighting, speckled bee full of pollen. Really strong image!
