Abandoned Home desaturated

Sorry I am so far behind but I was gone all day yesterday and it poured with gusts to 55 mph. I had a scary trip home last night in the dark as I drove up the river towards the coast with huge puddles, windshield wipers on high, wind whipping and debris all over the road. So I decided to post a couple of reedits of an old shot found as I continue on my purge of my external hard drive. Which do you prefer? The other is in my extras album.
I'm way behind on commenting since I've basically been gone for most of the last two days, but I will catch up today assuming we don't lose power. Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
I like this desaturated shot particularly - but I have a preference for monochrome nice composition and great story

Lovely comp and textures, fav. I have slight preference for the coloured one, but both are beautiful.

Lovely capture and detail.

No doubt for me -- I love the desaturated look which emphasizes the deterioration and its contrast with the natural elements. The color version is beautiful, but because it's so beautiful, it takes away some of the emphasis on decay.

I like this one with just a touch of colour in the sky and the chimney.Lots of texture too.

Going for the abandoned look, I guess I really like this one best. The tones are terrific and lots of texture. The color is quite pretty, too - I went back and forth 5 times before finishing this! But I agree with Taffy. Nice editing job.
