Under the Bridge 1

I'm having a hard time deciding whether I prefer the landscape or portrait orientation. I took this in a brief break between storms. We now have really high winds and they are predicted to get up to 75 mph so I think I will pass on going out in it!
Thanks much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs. I'd be curious which orientation you prefer and whether or not you can find the seagull!
Check on this against black, Jane - fabulous! My favorite. Love your lighting. Fav Those winds sound vicious!

Has to be this one but has to be against the black!

Is the seagull a shadow on the wall?

This is terrific too The first layer is especially pleasing, such perfect shapes

Love, love the symmetry and repetition of the shapes. Wonderful shot. My preference of the two. A tiny (very tiny) suggestion... I might (ever so lightly) swipe my LR brush over the two arched areas in the front to very slightly lighten them. I suspect that there might be some interest there. Super shot. :) Fav.

@jgpittenger Oops... nothing like the original photographer's eye!

Wow! And I agree with Milanie...this is extra special on black. I love the strong vertical lines and the layers.

@rosiekerr but you were right, it would be nice to see the detail in the foreground pillars...if I just hadn't gotten flared

Well this is fabulous repetitive pattern and lighting.

I really really like this a lot. I think the depth is terrific and I really like how our eye is drawn in and the pilings behind are so tack sharp. Are you also posting the landscape version? Will check your recent photos.

It's like a temple water.

I like how the touch of brighter green on the left keeps the image from being too symmetrical and adds visual interest to the already beautiful image.
